LIFE WEAR TECHNOLOGIES ACQUIRES TRICALM® PRODUCT LINE FROM COSMEDERM BIOSCIENCE

(August 16, 2016) Life Wear Technologies, a leading supplier of both branded and private label sports medicine products, has acquired the TriCalm® line of anti-itch products from Cosmederm Bioscience of San Diego, CA .

Life Wear is the manufacturer of CryoMAX® Cold Therapy Reusable Cold Packs and the recently launched ThermalMAX® Long Lasting Heat Packs. Life Wear also offers an expansive line of Health Supports, Tapes & Bandages to retailers around the globe.

The addition of TriCalm will expand Life Wear’s reach to over-the-counter medicine. The TriCalm line of products includes TriCalm Hydrogel, TriCalm Clinical Repair Cream, and TriCalm Extra Strength Spray. Terms of the sale between the two privately held companies were not disclosed.

TriCalm is a non-steroidal compound that provides fast and effective relief from minor skin irritation caused by poison ivy, insect bites and other skin conditions that cause itching, burning and stinging.
